Bruny Island (Lunawanna-Allonah) is a 362-square-kilometre (89,000-acre) island located off the south-eastern coast of Tasmania, Australia - almost antipodean in relation to Arnhem, The Netherlands. Field recordings taken from various times of day and location on the island will be played at Australian Eastern Daylight Time (A.E.D.T) from Arnhem. While broadcast at the local time of recording, sounds of animals, plants, wind and vehicles will be heard out of synch of the daily rhythms to anyone listening outside of Australia.
